Color – distinctive dark mahogany red.
Aromas – Heavy cherry and Mediterranean herbs.
Palate notes – Deep, full-bodied flavor with a well-balanced demeanor of dark fruits.
Notes – My Sicilian blend of Nero D Avola is a classic in its ancestral home. The arid, rolling mountains of Sicily are ideal for this ancient dark-skinned grape. I introduce a tenth of merlot & cab to provide a gentle, rounded profile.
